IV. RESEARCH DONE BY:

Mrs. Willena (Groom), descendant of Charles Groom, grandaughter of Rev. Needham York Groom and daughter of Frank Groom, researched all the early records of the Groom family in Georgia, Alabama, and North Carolina.  She found much of the material on Elijah Groom 11 and Elizabeth (Bryan) Groom in Louisiana.  I am also indebted to many of Indiana (Groom) Dean's descendants who are still living in Louisiana.
